We have been part of an FCLP maths / arts project whose title has been Break 3. It has involved workshops and training for teachers, Mrs Langton and Mrs White attended. We also received a range of maths resources. The funding has enabled us to work with maths advisory teachers, other colleagues and a range of specialists from the performing arts. It has been a really exciting project and we feel that we have all got a great deal from it which will continue to enhance the children’s learning.
Today we were visited by a singing teacher, Steph, who worked on rhythm and pattern with us. Badgers class wrote maths trails for the younger children to follow later in the week. In the afternoon everybody worked together across the age groups playing board games together.
